There is no idea or commentary here, just a reminder. People talk so much about it, about the Torah. How many argumentative discussions, how many news reports related to Torah, how many attempts to claim that it is no longer relevant at all. So here is the basis - the truest, most beautiful verses about the Torah, that simply remind us what a precious gift we have received:
תּוֹרָה צִוָּה לָנוּ מֹשֶׁה מוֹרָשָׁה קְהִלַּת יַעֲקֹב
"Moses commanded us a law, an inheritance of the congregation of Jacob." (Deuteronomy 33:4)
כִּי מִצִּיּוֹן תֵּצֵא תוֹרָה וּדְבַר ה' מִירוּשָׁלִָים
"For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem." (Isaiah 2:3)
בְּאֵין חָזוֹן יִפָּרַע עָם וְשֹׁמֵר תּוֹרָה אַשְׁרֵהוּ
"Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint; but he that keepeth the law, happy is he." (Isaiah 2:3)
תּוֹרַת ה' תְּמִימָה מְשִׁיבַת נָפֶשׁ עֵדוּת ה' נֶאֱמָנָה מַחְכִּימַת פֶּתִי
"The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple." (Proverbs 29:18)
שְׁמַע בְּנִי מוּסַר אָבִיךָ וְאַל תִּטֹּשׁ תּוֹרַת אִמֶּך
"Hear, my son, the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the teaching of thy mother" (Proverbs 1:8)
כִּי לֶקַח טוֹב נָתַתִּי לָכֶם תּוֹרָתִי אַל תַּעֲזֹבוּ
"For I give you good doctrine; forsake ye not my teaching." (Proverbs 4:2)
דְּרָכֶיהָ דַרְכֵי נֹעַם וְכָל נְתִיבוֹתֶיהָ שָׁלוֹם
"Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace." (Proverbs 3:17)
