It’s a Mitzvah

Translation by Yehoshua Siskin

The experts explain that we are now entering a critical period in which it will be determined if Israel will be Italy or Singapore, if the coronavirus will spread out of control and turn into a disaster, G-d forbid, or if it will be halted and come to a quick end. Our behavior will influence the outcome. This depends on adherence to the smallest and most annoying details of a safety routine.
So this morning I don’t write words of Torah, but perhaps this is also Torah: We simply need to read and follow the instructions given by the Ministry of Health and read them over again with the entire family and then observe them to the letter as if they were holy mitzvot.
